Wings is the Comprehension Sex Education Seminar Liga MAC offers its female scholars. The “Wings” program was created to prevent school-dropout and teen pregnancy. This program is geared for 12 to 15-year-old girls involved in Liga MAC’s Educational Support Program. The workshop offers a series of five interactive sessions designed to provide the girls with the encouragement and confidence to spread their “wings.” The workshop includes a field trip to a local business for the girls to learn the steps to climb up the corporate ladder and the processes used to secure a job. Also included is a comprehensive sexuality seminar facilitated by licensed and highly qualified Mexican professionals.
