At Liga MAC, volunteers are at the heart of our mission. Whether you are looking to share your skills, connect with the community, or make new friends, there’s a place for you on our team.
Fundraising Events – Be part of the energy behind our events!
We welcome creative, enthusiastic volunteers to bring ideas, help plan, promote, and support our fundraisers.
Community Outreach (November – April) – Help us connect!
Represent Liga MAC to the public and offer items for donation at our Thrift Donation Centre (Tuesday & Saturday), the Palmilla Organic Market (Friday), or San José Organic Market (Saturday).
Program Delivery – Work directly with our students!
Be in the classroom as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Facilitator (teaching experience and Spanish fluency is not required). Mentor a student one-on-one by providing real-life guidance and encouragement, and share your expertise in the classroom (Spanish fluency required).
Governance – Put your leadership and professional skills to work!
Join the Board of Directors (Development, Strategy).
